Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

We collect information you provide when registering (company name, admin name, email address, password hash) and information generated through use of the platform (employee records, leave requests, salary data). We do not collect payment card data directly — payments are processed by a PCI-compliant provider.

2. How we use your data

Your data is used solely to provide the Alpha HR service. We do not sell, share, or rent your data to third parties. We may use aggregated, anonymised data for product improvement purposes. We use Resend to send transactional emails (leave notifications, invites, password resets) on your behalf.

3. Data isolation

Alpha HR is a multi-tenant platform. All data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with Row Level Security enforced at the database level. Your company's data is completely isolated from all other tenants. Employees can only access data within their own company.

4. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your data within 30 days of the request, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance reasons.

5. Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. Access to production infrastructure is restricted to authorised personnel. We perform regular security reviews. If you discover a security vulnerability, please contact us at security@alpha-hr.com.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@alpha-hr.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies

We use session cookies for authentication. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, but this will prevent you from logging in.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify account administrators by email at least 14 days before any material changes take effect.
